Portfolio: Science of Bridges
COSI Toledo, February 2005
The exhibit was a
great success! Many people returned for a second day; children who visited
on Friday with the class persuaded their parents to bring them back on Saturday
or Sunday. A group of Boy Scouts working on their Engineering Merit
Badge stayed around my table and built bridges for two hours, then attended my
presentation about the stresses involved in truss and arch bridges.

It's holding up real well. Actually,

had to go find more! |
